D-backs front office executives, players and coaches will interact with nearly 600 children at the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation’s 20th annual Winter Classic Holiday Party, presented by University of Phoenix, starting at 12:00 p.m. this Thursday at Chase Field. Each child will receive numerous gifts including a D-backs sweatshirt, backpack, new shoes and a couple of books, compliments of the D-backs and University of Phoenix.
The kids will be treated to a unique Chase Field experience, including:
· Photos with Santa
· Phoenix Symphony Instrument “Petting Zoo”
· Phoenix Herpetological Society Petting Zoo
· Fitness Zone with D-backs trainers
· D-backs Science of Baseball zone
· Wiffle ball and run the bases
· Dance time with Bobby Freeman
· Interactive showcase with Dino Crew Entertainment
· University of Phoenix Reading Center
· Holiday craft station
· Lunch provided by Ike’s Love & Sandwiches
· D-backs inflatables and games
More than 150 employees from University of Phoenix and the D-backs will also assist the kids in their experience.
