Nov. 3, 2017, Fairfax, Va.—Americans for Limited Government President Rick Manning today issued the following statement in response to press reports stating that Attorney General Jeff Sessions had recused himself from the Uranium One case:
“Americans for Limited Government has learned from an unimpeachable source that Attorney General Jeff Sessions has not recused himself from the Uranium One case. The fact that the Attorney General ended the non-disclosure agreement for the Uranium One whistleblower provides the proof that Sessions is actively involved the Uranium One case. Unfortunately, the Attorney General cannot conduct any investigations through press releases and sound bites allowing the rest of us to receive a blow by blow description of every action that might be under way. Suffice to say, the Attorney General is in the game on Uranium One, contrary to some reports.”
