Are you feeling brave?  Old abandoned mines can be a bit creepy.  They’re downright spooky around Halloween!  Some folks say the old Clay Mine is haunted!  Only one way to know for certain.  You’ll have to check it out for yourself!  Park at the Nature Center. Hike over to the Clay Mine.  A guide will escort you into the mine, but beware!  The guide may be possessed!  We have to lock the spirits in for the night at 8:30pm, so don’t be late!  Bring a flashlight and water for the easy to moderate hike out and back (1.8 miles round-trip).  Not recommended for kids under 10. No pets, please!
