We are now located a few doors down from our original location on 4815 E Carefree Highway, in suite 107 on the corner of the same Fry’s shopping center. Dove Valley Animal Hospital has been a proud member of the community since 2002 and, thanks to the support of the community, outgrew our original facility. The new location is 50% larger with more exam rooms, larger reception and treatment areas, and surgery suite. The same great staff and doctors will be caring for your furry friends at the new suite. Dove Valley Animal Hospital is still open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm, but has expanded weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Dove Valley Animal Hospital is excited to introduce two new doctors to the practice as well, Courtney Leibering, DVM and Amanda Likewise, DVM. Dr. Courtney Leibering was born and raised in the Phoenix area and is happy to be back to the cacti, mountains, and sunshine. Dr. Leibering received her Bachelors of Pre-Veterinary Science at The University of Arizona. Afterwards, she attended Oklahoma State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Leibering has interests in exotic animal medicine, nutrition, behavior, rehabilitation, and surgery. Outside of work she loves to be outdoors or spending time with her family, friends, and Great Danes.
Dr. Amanda Likewise grew up in both Colorado and Wyoming. She attended the University of Wyoming where she received her Bachelors in Animal and Veterinary Science. After that, she attended Colorado State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Dr. Likewise has interests in exotic animal medicine, acupuncture, and pain management. She has been enjoying the cooler weather and absence of snow this fall. Outside of work Dr. Likewise also enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, or relaxing while reading a good book.
Dr.Leibering and Dr.Likewise have been working at Dove Valley Animal Hospital since July and have enjoyed seeing the wonderful pets and their families that come through the doors. Both doctors have been perfect additions to the Dove Valley Animal Hospital team alongside Dr. Mike Kiedrowski and Dr. Jennifer Newquist. The Dove Valley team would love to meet you and your loved ones whether they are big or small, furry or covered in scales.
