An endorsed and elected Combat Veteran For Congress, Congressman Ron DeSantis, Cdr-USNR (JAGC) (R-FL-6), attached an amendment to the, must-pass spending bill, that Congress will take up. The amendment prohibits the Special Counsel from investigating President Trump, his family members, or the Trump campaign for anything that happened prior to June 2105, when, then candidate Donald Trump announced his candidacy.
Congressman DeSantis’ amendment puts a 180-day cap on funding for the Special Counsel’s investigation in the Russian collusion probe. “Congress should not fund a fishing expedition,” said Congressman DeSantis. “Congress should use its spending power to clarify the scope and limit the duration of this investigation,” he said.
After one year of investigation, not one allegation of any criminal wrongdoing has surfaced, nor has the false allegation that the Trump Campaign colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton’s campaign for President been proven. In fact the opposite is most probably true, since Secretary of State Clinton’s transfer of 20% of the US uranium production to Putin gained his approval. For the transfer of 20% of the US uranium production to Russia, the Clintons were rewarded with a $140,000 donation to the Clinton Foundation and Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 for a one hour speech to a Russian bank. That Russian collusion is what the Special Counsel should really be investigating.
In recent Congressional testimony, it was learned that members of the Obama administration inner circle, including Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and John Brennan illegally unmasked General Michael Flynn, Senator Rand Paul, Senator Lindsey Graham, and others. They used the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) to authorize US Intelligence Agencies, to investigate Gen Flynn, the US Senators, and the Trump Campaign to unmask and illegally spy on Americans.
In addition, Obama’s deep state operatives had been spying on members of the Supreme Court, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Congressmen, Senators, then candidate Donald Trump in Trump Towers, the Trump Campaign staff, members of the Trump family, and millions of Americans in violation of US Federal Law. Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper, made an outright lie in Congressional testimony, when he said no Americans were being illegally spied upon.
After one year of the unlawful employment FISA to authorize unmasking, and recording the transmissions of then candidate Donald Trump, President Donald Trump, the Trump Campaign, members of the Trump Campaign Staff, and members of the Trump family, not one allegation of a criminal wrongdoing has surfaced.
Congressman Ron DeSantis’ well thought out amendment to the must-pass spending bill, will bring a semblance of sanity to the out of control left of center liberal media establishment’s lie, that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to defeat Hillary Clinton for President. Hillary Clinton inept campaign actually defeated Hillary Clinton for President.
If Congressman DeSantis’ amendment to the spending bill is discarded by the Rules Committee, the only person who will be responsible, will be Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.
