ANTHEM – Join ProMusica Arizona Chorale and Orchestra for a magical trip through the goings on of a city after sundown! It begins with the setting of the sun, and highlights the grand celestial movements of the darkened sky until the daylight breaks the horizon again and our journey comes to an end.
Poetry, music and beautiful visuals combine to create a truly awesome experience – a party, falling asleep, dreaming, and awakening – including a breathtaking multimedia experience of time lapse photography accompanied by the music of Beethoven, Ola Gjello, Dvorak, Eric Whitacre, and more. Our moonlight journey will be seen through different perspectives – a child, a spouse, a parent, a lover, and an elderly person. This is a journey not to be missed!
Dates and venues for the concerts are: Saturday, Feb. 25, 7:30 p.m. – Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Anthem; and Sunday, Feb. 26, 3 p.m. – American Lutheran Church, Sun City.
Ticket Prices: Adult/Senior Premium tickets $22 and General seating $18; Students (16-22) $12 for general seating only; and children 15 and younger are free with a paid adult. Free student rush tickets are available 15 minutes before each performance, based on availability.
