Women aren’t stupid! –Jim Lane’s campaign attack sign on our streets

Women are stupid. Women are not leaders. Women are puppets of their husband or other men. Women can’t make important government decisions without parroting a designated male. How more insulting to women can Jim Lane’s Scottsdale campaign signs become?

He targets Scottsdale Vice Mayor Kathy Littlefield who isn’t even running for re-election. His recent attack on his opponent, Bob Littlefield, also attempts to convince voters that uncles, fathers, brothers, cousins—and yes women relatives can’t legally run for the same city council. Not true. Scottsdale voters want LEADERSHIP and they have it in Councilwoman Littlefield.

Kathy Littlefield has proven herself a strong voice for residents and small businesses. She often pulls capital projects from the Consent Agenda (one vote—no public discussion– for multiple items that include liquor licenses, some re-zoning cases, and city contract expenditures). She has city staff explain to the public why the project is important and why the expense benefits us. She frequently tours the project and publicly reports her findings. Who else on city council is this diligent?

Women are leaders and every councilwoman deserves respect for their decisions on city council. Get those demeaning signs off our city streets, Mr. Lane.
