Hillary’s meltdown

I couldn’t believe what I was watching.

But there it was on video for all to see.

Seconds after unleashing a tirade against the right of every American to have a job without being forced to join a union, Hillary Clinton was demanding to know why she wasn’t leading the presidential polls by 50 points.

Well, I have an answer to Hillary’s question.

Almost 80% of Americans believe she is dead wrong when it comes to compulsory unionism and forced-union dues.

Do you agree with Hillary that unions have the right to extort forced payment of dues from members against the wishes of workers?

Or do you believe that no person should ever be forced to pay union dues as a condition of their employment?

At the National Right to Work Committee, we don’t believe that anyone should be forced to pay tribute to a union in order to get or keep a job. With so much at stake for American workers over the next several weeks and months, we need to know where you stand.

If Big Labor bosses and their allies have their way, every one of the 26 state-level Right to Work laws would be wiped out.

Any chance at passing a national Right to Work law would be crushed.

American workers have felt firsthand the economic hardship, lost jobs, higher taxes, and union violence wrought by the federally imposed system of compulsory unionism.

Hillary’s rant against a worker’s freedom to not be in a union – in spite of all the numbers – shows how out-of-touch the opponents of Right to Work laws are.

Just look at the state of Michigan. In 1960, Detroit was the richest per capita city in the United States as manufacturing drove a booming statewide economy.

But when much of the nation was experiencing an economic boom after the recession in the early 2000s, Michigan was mired in a notorious “lost decade,” shedding over 840,000 jobs!

Those lost jobs, fleeing citizens and union-label politicians’ outrageous policies all finally culminated in the city of Detroit being forced to declare bankruptcy.

The good news is, the people of Michigan finally had enough! Since passing Right to Work — which simply states that no Michigan worker can be forced to financially support a union as a condition of employment — Michigan has seen a massive economic turnaround.

They’ve catapulted to second in the nation in the creation of manufacturing jobs, unemployment has dropped by 30% since 2010, and they have surged to ninth in the nation in per capita income growth.

In spite of all the numbers like these proving the benefit of Right to Work laws, Hillary Clinton has thrown down the gauntlet against worker freedom.

Do you support Hillary’s war on Right to Work laws, or do you believe a worker has a right to choose not to join a union?

But if you support worker freedom and the Right to Work, I’m hoping you will help me with a special project to expose Hillary’s and Big Labor’s scheme.

You see, union strategists are leaving nothing to chance.

Big Labor is unloading their multi-BILLION-dollar, forced-dues-funded warchest to keep hold of the White House, retake the U.S. Senate and install more forced-dues advocates in the House.

That’s why I’ve authorized a hard-hitting 4-pronged battle plan to torpedo Hillary’s and Big Labor’s plans to derail the economy and destroy worker freedom.

The numbers are clear.

Right to Work states typically enjoy a lower cost of living, lower taxes and lower unemployment rates than states that force workers to pay union dues.

But if the Big Labor agenda succeeds, you will be forced to join a union. You will be forced to surrender a portion of your paycheck for union dues.

If you refuse, you will lose your job.

Is that an America you want to live in?

Or do you agree with the almost eight in ten Americans who think it’s wrong to force workers to pay union dues under the threat of being fired if they don’t pay?

Sincerely,

Mark Mix
President, National Right to Work
