Southwest’s largest Cannabis Expo educates voters on Prop 205

This is the first time in the history of Arizona proposition votes that an entire conference at the Phoenix Convention Center has been designed to educate Arizona voters!”- Demitri Downing, Conference Chair

The Southwest Cannabis Conference and Expo (October 14 – 16) will be the first ever conference with voter education as its mission. With millions of dollars being spent by both pro and anti 205 campaigns, the SWCC Expo organizers have decided that educating voters about the true potential impact of the law is of paramount importance.

“Tax and Regulate is a mystery still to most Arizona voters, this conference will highlight the professional manner by which Marijuana can be and is being grown and dispensed in contrast to the black market approach,” says Downing.

Legal marijuana is poised to be a $22 Billion market by 2020 according to leading marijuana investment group ArcView. It is one of the fastest growing industries in the United States. Legalization would create tax revenue, empower small business owners to create thousands of jobs, all while taking money out of the hands of drug dealers and cartels. The non-profit tax foundation estimates that if proposition 205 were to pass, it would generate as much as $113 million a year in tax revenue for Arizona schools.

This three-day conference features conversations with experts, business owners and celebrities from around the country discussing a range of issues the Arizona voters are going to be analyzing this November.
