Reps. Ron Paul, Justin Amash, and Judge Napolitano to speak at YALCON 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. —  Next week, Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) will host its eighth annual national convention at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. This year’s convention will feature over 20 speakers who will highlight YAL’s call to action for young people to rise up and #BeTheNext principled liberty leader.

YAL is the largest, most active, and fastest-growing pro-liberty organization on America’s college campuses. With more than 700 YAL chapters and 250,000 youth activists nationwide, YAL seeks to identify, educate, train, and mobilize young people committed to winning on principle. YAL continues its exponential growth with the largest national convention to date with over 350 students from across the country in attendance.

“The YAL National Convention brings together the best, brightest and most active members of the youth movement for liberty and gives them the opportunity to improve personally and professionally. Most students feel disengaged in our nation’s current political discourse, and this convention will offer top-notch training from leaders within the liberty movement calling on our activists to #BeTheNext liberty leader.

Our young activists will play a key role in our nation’s political future and we invite you to witness this influence first hand,” said Cliff Maloney, Executive Director of YAL.

Notable convention speakers include Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tex.), Congressman Justin Amash (R-Mich.), Judge Andrew Napolitano, entertainer Penn Jillette, American’s for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist, Cato Institute Executive Vice President David Boaz, and professional wrestler Glenn ‘Kane’ Jacobs.

A full list of speakers will soon be announced.
