Carefree voters will soon receive their official ballot for the upcoming election. In our town the mail in ballot system makes it so easy to do your civic duty. In Carefree, this time there is a mayor and six council seats on the ballot…with no opposition to any of the candidates. As one of those candidates I urge each eligible voter to mark their choice for all 7 of the candidates.
I personally know and endorse each existing and the two new residents who are running. Please do not leave any of the lines blank, as that is more difficult to reach the minimum level to avoid anyone having a runoff in November. This will save the town a large amount of money and give Town Hall the opportunity to start getting the new members up to speed and ready to govern in December when they are sworn in.
The Mayor and all the other 5 candidates deserve your vote, and I hope you feel that I do also. Remember…NO BLANK LINES.
